gotta be the best value hotel in taipei

This has got to be the best value hotel in Taipei. Steps from Main station, large rooms with floor to ceiling windows (if you don't get the cheapest room), entirely flexible cancellation policy (cancel anytime), good/clean bathroom, fridge, comfortable bed, and around $30/night. Impossible to beat.

Waiting for that breakfast buffet to open up, but obviously not their fault. Not much to dislike.

Ｎo breakfast, the location is great , about 600 meter from Taipei Train station.

The front desk clerks didn't really speak English. And there was some noise from neighboring guests when I was in the bathroom.

The view is great, the room looks good. There is all you need in the room and even more, of good quality and for free (no additional cost). When the hotel has free room it often gives a better one, especially if you go there often. They used to recognize me and give me more attention and advantage for fidelity

Water sometimes goes through roof when raining, but only in corridors and they put stuff to keep you aware of it

The room was great, perfect location, close to Taipei main...

The room was great, perfect location, close to Taipei main train station, many small shops around, free soft drink, coffee and toast 24 hrs.

My room was very close to the entrance of the dinning room which made it very loud in the morning. The sound proof was also very bad, I could always hear people talking or walking on the hallway. The bathroom was not cleaned properly, there was a small brown, American football shaped unidentified item at the corner. I didn't want to look at it nor touch it at all. But I couldn't change the room...

Very comfortable to stay.

Very comfortable to stay. Close to Taipei main station. Check-in very fast. Breakfast various and good taste. Free coffee and tea machine at the hotel lawn and 11fl rooftop. This is my 2nd stay and i will be back to stay again.

I like best the location, esp it’s nearness to the Taipei...

I like best the location, esp it’s nearness to the Taipei Main Station Restos and Dept stores. Staff are very helpful and accommodating esp Graiza. Thanks for entertaining us thus making our trip a very nice one. Food is just Ok.

Buffet can still be improved and the lobby. Plus the elevators, need facelifts.

The front desk staff during our check out.. He was grumpy to help us call a taxi. We have baby and we need 2 taxi during early morning to catch airport mrt.

Poor sleep quality

Staff service is perfect.

Safety has room for improvement. Reason walkway is narrow. And if there is a fire, human traffic have difficulty emergency evacuation. 2nd reason all the wall are thin. Water running pipe has loud sound when next room is using. I had very poor sleeping quality because next room guests used at 2am l.

Love taiwan. Will stay at Taipei m again definitely.

Great place only a short walk to the mrt train and the heart of xinmending. Shopping and food and lights and felt safe walking around at night. Easy to get the mrt to other places too.

Friendly hotel

The staff couldn't be more helpful if they tried. They were able to assist with all my business needs in providing directions, checking addresses and even phoning up clients on my behalf to ensure my appointments went well. On my last night I upgraded my room to a much larger room with windows which was worth the additional cost.

I originally was allocated a room with no windows and quite small and claustrophobic.

Evetything was fine except the taxi pick-up service from the airport. If the hotel is going to charge extra money for the pick-up service. they at least have to knoe what thry are doing. The reception of the hotel did not give proper information of meeting point,and the taxi driver was not where he was supposed to be, leading us to waiting for the taxi driver for more than 30 minutes. Worst of all, when we tried to figure out the reason that we got in this kind of trouble at the reception, the attitude of the receptionist was very rude. THERE IS NO POINT OF USING THE TAXI PICK-UP SERVICE AT THIS HOTEL.

Good

It was a comfortable stay. Room was quite big that I just leave the luggages open throughout the stay and still have space to walk. Ximending is within walkable distance and pretty near Taipei Main station. Staffs were very friendly and there’s always more than 3 of them at the counter even at night. They have no problem with English and even heard one of then speaking Korean, really appreciate their effort.

walls are pretty thin and there’s alot of rooms on one floor, lightsleeper might not like this but this didn’t really affect me.
